WORLD AIDS DAY

World Aids day is about raising money, increasing awareness, fighting prejudice, and improving education. It started in 1988 and it is important in reminding people that HIV has not gone away. There is an estimated 33.4 million people living with HIV, which includes 2.1 million children. During 2008 about 2.7 million people became newly infected with AIDS and an estimated 2 million people died from it.
