Want advice from patient safety experts?

A couple of tips from the video:

1. You are your own best patient advocate.

2. Have a family member advocate for you, if not hire one to help.

3. Keep a log and takes notes on everything: time, date, staff names, department, medication, procedure

What do you think about their advice? Would you take notes during your hospital stay? Would you tell a provider (doctor, nurse, lab) to wash their hands if you noticed they hadn't?
