Celebrate National Nursing Assistant Week

June 13-20 is National Nursing Assistants Week. According to the National Network of Career Nursing Assistants, nursing assistants can go by various titles: direct care worker, nurse aide, care assistant, caregiver, hospice aide, in-home care aide, ED assistant, resident assistant, hospice assistant, patient care assistant, personal care assistant, geriatric aide, restorative aide, health care assistant, and many more. One thing's for sure: they play an important part in caring for our sick and our elderly citizens. And they should be praised for all the do.

Do you know any nursing assistants that deserve recognition? Thank them by nominating them as a Care Star on WhereToFindCare.com! Our Care Stars program aims to shine a light on the good in healthcare and give praise to all exceptional caregivers out there.

We'll share your Care Star on our Care Stars page and on our social media profiles, like Twitter, Google+, and Facebook.

To get started, go to WhereToFindCare.com, search for their place of employment, and click on the rate button. On the review form, tell us about the Care Star: their first name, what they did that exceeded your expectations, and take a minute to express your appreciation.
