Health Insurance Marketplace Coming Soon: Are You Ready?

The new Health Insurance Marketplace is set to launch in 1 week, on October 1. Are you ready?

What to expect:
  1. To use the Health Insurance Marketplace, visit HealthCare.gov
  2. When you use the marketplace, you'll fill out an application, see all the health plans available in your area, and then enroll in a plan. All in one central location.
  3. The marketplace will tell you if you qualify for free or low-cost coverage (Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program)
  4. You can explore all your options-compare deductibles, co-pays, premiums, and benefits-and find coverage that meets your needs and fits your budget.
  5. Coverage starts as soon as January 1, 2014
If you have any questions, call the help line at 1-800-318-2596, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (TTY: 1-855-889-4325)
